Research

Excellence in research and teaching of Linguistics and Computational Linguistics has a long tradition in Tübingen. We offer small courses and intensive mentoring of students as well as a wide range of funded research projects in interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary contexts.

The SfS collaborates closely with colleagues in the German, English, Romance LanguagesSlavic Languages and Psychology Departments, including two Collaborative Research Centers going back to 1990 (SFB 340, SFB 441, SFB 833). The Collaborative Research Center 833 (SFB 833), which was approved in 2009, adds collaboration with colleagues from neuroscience.
