Momentum grant awarded for Nadine Ziemert

Professor receives Momentum grant from the Volkswagen-Foundation

The IBMI congratulates its member Professor Nadine Ziemert for being awarded the Volkswagen-Foundation's Momentum grant, worth over 900,000€, for the further development scientific development of her research. The project A machine learning-driven pipeline for the prediction and production of new antibiotics aims to systematically approach and accelerate the search for new substances. 

The Momentum grant is aimed at scientists from all disciplines in the early years if their first lifetime professorship.
