Bachelor/Master
The seminar “Research Topics in Tübingen” introduces current research areas in Nano-Science at the University of Tübingen. Participation is mandatory for 5th semester Bachelor students. The seminar is also open as an optional course to Master’s students who did not complete a Bachelor’s degree in Nano-Science.

Tuesday, 4:15 – 5:45 pm and Wednesday, 12:15–1:45 pm

Master:
The course “Data Analysis with Statistics” (Part of the Master Seminar module) will take place as a block course from 5 to 9 October 2026, daily from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Most of the lectures, seminars and other events require student's registration. This is possible either via alma, via ILIAS or via third party. Please check the information given at the alma portal corresponding to the respective lecture. Caution: Some of the events have registration deadlines. For further inquiries please contact the lecturers directly.

Advanced Topics in Nanochemistry (module Nano-Science IV)
Registration for the seminar “Advanced Topics in Nanochemistry” is now open. Please register to the ILIAS course (registration valid OLNY IN ILIAS - alma registration is not supported!). Deadline: October 9th. The participation at the starting event at October 16th is mandatory for all students.
New registration procedure for Master thesis
From now on a new Master thesis registration sheet is valid and downloadable in the download section. Important: Fron now on, also a digital copy of the master thesis must be provided as a pdf file. Please read the Information sheet carefully.
Clarification on Master thesis registration
You are allowed to register your Master thesis when you have finished the modules M1 to M8 (confirmed via transcript). Before starting your Master theses you have to register using the registration sheet at Dr. Schrenk. The registration of an already running Master thesis is not possible. So please follow the general istructions below:
- first finishing modules M1 - M8
- then registration of your Master thesis
- then starting the Master thesis
