About

Lorena Rajković is a PhD student in the Palaeoanthropology section at the University of Tübingen. Her DFG-funded research investigates the influence of phylogeny, subsistence strategies, and environmental factors on dental morphology in modern human populations. Using 3D imaging and virtual anthropology methods, she studies patterns of variation in human tooth shape and their implications for understanding human evolution.
Lorena completed her MSc in Paleoanthropology at the University of Tübingen. Her master's thesis focused on the taxonomic classification of a fragmentary hominin fibula from Klissoura Cave 1 using osteological analysis, 3D geometric morphometrics, and virtual anthropology approaches.
Her research interests include human evolution, skeletal and dental morphology, virtual anthropology, geometric morphometrics, and the analysis of fragmentary fossil remains.
