Successful disputation of our group member

Thorsten Tiede successfully defended his dissertation „Providing Biological Networks for Molecular Tumor Boards with SBML4j”.

We are pleased with our former group member, Thorsten Tiede, for successfully defending his Ph.D. thesis. He joined our group through a project funded by the US NIH (the National Institutes of Health) to contribute to developing the SBML standard specifically for JSBML. SBML also played a considerable role in his doctoral thesis, as he wanted to make this standard as valuable as possible for cancer research. To do so, he converted it into a graph-based data structure. We congratulate Dr. des. Thorsten Tiede, and wish him success and all the best for his future career and private life.
