Within this module, students can select two out of different courses covering the economic framework conditions and business cultures of different Asian nations such as China, Japan, Korea or alternatively of the South American continent.
Focal topics include:
Business etiquette in specific Asian or South American cultures
Cross-cultural communication and conflict management
Building trust relationships with Asian or South American business partners

Objectives
Students analyze the economic, social, political and cultural conditions of specific Asian nations or the South American continent and assess their influence on international management issues. They will develop an understanding of different business cultures and discuss their influence on management activities. Through the group assignments, case studies, movie clips and role plays within the courses, students will enhance their ability to effectively communicate, interact and behave in an international business environment.
