Dr. Vladimir Lasica is a scholar from Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose PhD examined Averroes’s critique of Avicenna’s approach to metaphysics. In 2016/17, he was a Teach@Tübingen guest lecturer at the Center for Islamic Theology, teaching courses on ‘Islamic Philosophy and the Tahāfut of Imam al-Ghazālī’ and on ‘Aristotelian Tradition in Islamic Philosophy’. Having studied in Sarajevo, Istanbul and Córdoba, he currently lectures at the Maarif Schools in Sarajevo.
