Check out the latest newsletter of the European Society for Agriculture and Food Ethics.

Special Issue Editor is Simon Meisch

The newsletter is dedicated to issues of teaching and training in the context of agriculture and food ethics. The three thematic contributions deal with a case study on the conflict between the protection of the Iberian wolf and sheep farming in northern Spain (author: Leire Escajedo San-Epifanio, Professor of Constitutional Law, and Law and Ethics in the Biosciences), the manifold ethical questions related to the consumption of chocolate (author: Birgit Hoinle, Research Associate, University of Hohenheim) and the educational concept of everyday fantasies using the example of apiculture (Author: Marco Elischer, Educational Officer at proBiene - Freies Institut für ökologische Bienenhaltung).
The contribution of our former colleague Birgit Hoinle presents a course she held in the Studium Oecologium and for which she (together with Matzel Xander and Raquel Cayapa) was awarded the teaching prize "Higher Education for Sustainable Development" in November 2022.
The newsletter can be downloaded here.
