Start of the research project “Leadership Ethics as Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities”

On the 12th and 13th of February a research consortium started officially the research project “Leadership Ethics as Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities” with a kick off meeting at the IZEW .

The project, which is funded by the Carl Zeiss Foundation, is dedicated to the conception and institutionalization of university teaching in the field of ethics and leadership responsibility for students of MINT subjects. In cooperation with the Friedrich Schiller University Jena, the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics exemplary research-based courses are to be developed, carried out and scientifically evaluated. The aim is to elaborate the foundations for a permanent implementation of these teaching modules.
