Videoconferencing as a structural disadvantage

Video conferencing is shaping a large part of our working world and many positive developments are associated with the digital transformation it brings. However, numerous video conferences during the work week are more tiring for some employees than for others. Gender, age, personality, background and the general conditions of videoconferencing at work have a significant influence. Especially existing work structures that have not been adapted to the digital world of work and are therefore unreflected can lead to disadvantages for some employees in connection with video conferencing.
