Annual Conference of the HR Division in the German Academic Association for Business Research

From September 12-14, 2018, Jasmin Joecks, Philip Yang, and Kerstin Pull took part at the Annual Conference of the HR Division (Wissenschaftliche Kommission Personalwesen) of the German Academic Association for Business Research (VHB) in Munich. Three papers were presented: a paper on the gender pay gap in European executive boards, a paper exploring the link between women on supervisory boards of listed German firms, board attendance and firm performance with the help of a mixed methods approach, and a paper that aims at identifying the causal effects of the mandated gender quota in Norwegian listed firms with the help of a difference-in-difference analysis.
