Rasim Mustafi studied Law at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, specialising in Public International Law. During his studies, he completed the interdisciplinary certificate programme “Law–Ethics–Economics” and participated in the 60th Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court in 2018/2019. He serves as the Head Coach of the University of Tübingen in the Benjamin M. Telders Moot Court since 2022.
From 2018 to 2022, he worked as a student assistant at the Chair for German and European Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law, Economic Criminal Law and Computer Criminal Law (Professor Dr Jörg Eisele). He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Chair for Public International Law and Public Law (Professor Dr Andreas Kulick, LL.M.) at the University of Mainz, and a research assistant at the Chair for Constitutional Law, Public International Law and Human Rights Law (Professor Dr Jochen von Bernstorff, LL.M.) at the University of Tübingen. His doctoral research examines the protection of human rights in the digital sphere, with a particular focus on algorithmic decision-making processes and the regulation of online platforms.
