Luisa Scherzinger completed her Master of Education with the subjects economics and English at the University of Tuebingen in January 2020. Prior to this, she completed a Bachelor of Education with the same subjects and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration. From February 2020 to September 2023, she completed her doctorate at the Chair of Economic Education (dissertation: Teachers' Professional Competence for Bilingual (Economic) Education).

Since May 2023, she has been a research assistant in the third-party funded networking and transfer centre of the Kompetenzverbund lernen:digital.

Her research focuses on (bilingual) teacher training and the competences by (economics) teachers. She also specialises in the linguistic quality teaching materials, digital media and digital transformation in the education sector.
