Academic Profile

Since May 2024, I have been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Ludwig-Uhland-Institute. In my current project „Blickwinkel: Eine kooperative Projektinitiative zu kreativer Kunstvermittlung und digitaler Teilhabe“ funded by the Innovation Grant from the University of Tübingen, I aim to translate the research findings and ethnographic insights from my dissertation into innovative art education strategies and practice-oriented teaching units in collaborative cooperation with museum and school institutions.

From 2019 to 2023, I worked as a research associate and doctoral candidate in the DFG-funded project „Curating Digital Images: Ethnographic Perspectives on the Affordances of Digital Images in Heritage and Museum Contexts“ at the Center for Anthropological Research on Museums and Heritage (CARMAH), HU Berlin and the Ludwig-Uhland-Institute. In my dissertation „Museen und Social-Media: Wie digitale Bilder und ästhetische Alltagspraktiken die Kunsterfahrung verändern“ that was published in April 2024 I examined how the boundaries between institutionalized art worlds and everyday contexts are increasingly transcended through digital aesthetics and visualization patterns.
