Application to MSc Palaeolithic Archaeology (CIVIS; ART-W)
Which requirements are needed for the Multiple degree Masters program in Palaeolithic Archaeology (ART-W; CIVIS) ?
The prerequisite for participation in the Master's program is a Bachelor's degree in archaeology or a comparable degree in an equivalent subject. Bachelor's degrees in relevant natural science subjects (geology, chemistry, physics, biology, computer science) may also count as entry qualifications if archaeological experience is available.
A joint committee, including representatives from the three universities of Aix-Marseille, Rome and Tübingen, decides on the equivalence of the degree and any additional requirements, such as additional lectures or laboratory courses to be taken.
The language of instruction and examination in the Master's program in Paleolithic Archaeology is English. Sufficient knowledge of the English language is required (level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Note: - German language proficiency is not required as the program is taught completely in English.
- You don't need to have completed your Bachelor degree, you can also apply if you will graduate before October.
