The competence network lernen:digital is shaping the dialogue between science and praxis concerning the digital transformation of schools and teacher education. Four competence centers of the areas of STEM, Languages/Society/Economy, Music/Art/Sport and school development bundle the expertise of circa 200 international research and development projects.
The competence center Languages/Society/Economy is creating, testing and implementing trainings for digital or digitally based language teaching as well as for teaching in social or economics sciences. The project network WÖRLD is part of this competence center. The 14 involved institutions of higher education aim for an evidence-based transfer of digital and hybrid teaching and learning opportunities for a digitally based teacher education in economy and business related fields.
The Chair of Economic Education of the University of Tuebingen focuses on explanatory videos. Besides the application in schools, the creation of teacher trainings is essential. These trainings focus on the mindful application of explanatory videos.
