The Ethics and Education department is responsible for the interdisciplinary teaching of ethics at the IZEW. The courses on ethics in the educational science area of the teacher training program and in the certificate program Ethics in Practice are coordinated here. We also address ethics teaching topics for schools and universities and work on them in collaboration with colleagues teaching at the IZEW. Research in the department focuses on the didactics of ethics, both for schools and for university teaching, as well as the teaching of ethical skills in society.
