Thomas Riecke-Baulecke has been appointed honorary professor for "Empirical Educational Research: School Management and Teacher Education"
Dr. habil. Thomas Riecke-Baulecke, President of the Center for School Quality and Teacher Education Baden-Württemberg (ZSL), has been appointed honorary professor for "Empirical Educational Research: School Management and Teacher Education".
His research interests lie in the field of empirical educational research in the areas of school diagnostics, teaching quality, and performance assessment. In addition, Thomas Riecke-Baulecke has published numerous articles on the topics of school management and development as well as teacher professionalization research and edited anthologies in these fields.
The honorary professorship of Thomas Riecke-Baulecke opens up the opportunity to expand the range of courses and research capacity both in the "M.Sc. Empirical Educational Research and Educational Psychology" and in the continuing education course "School Management and Leadership". The focus will be on courses and research projects at the interface between science and education/school management, research and practice, university and school (e.g. quality assurance in the education system, quality criteria in teacher training). In addition, further participation of Thomas Riecke-Baulecke in the LEAD Graduate School & Research Network is planned, for example in the cooperation program Schools & Research.
