Internship Grants Abroad: Application Period & Information

Applications open on June 24 / Information session on June 16

Dear WiWis,

Good news for all students planning an internship abroad:
On June 24, 2026, the application portal will open for internships starting between September 1, 2026, and December 31, 2026.

Important changes for the 2026 project year:

New application portal: Mobility-Online replaces Placement-Online (applications will continue to be submitted exclusively via KOOR) and reduced maximum funding period: approx. 90–110 days in the future (final details to follow)

Additional funding is no longer available for students who are employed

For internships taking place between January 1, 2027, and August 31, 2027, applications will not be accepted until November 2, 2026.

Tip:
Funding from the 2025 project is still available for internships ending on or before August 31, 2026, with improved terms:

- Up to 135 days of funding

- Additional funding available for working students
