Within the framework of the general subject-related skills, the Department of Mathematics offers the module Internship in the Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. The internship can be carried out as an external internship in a company or as an internal internship at the Department of Mathematics. In the latter case, the students learn to solve a task with substantial reference to mathematics in a team or alone using specialised software and, under certain circumstances, to implement it up to the creation of a software product.
