The Brill Humanities Matter campaign highlights remarkable international publications in the Humanities, Social Sciences and International Law in the form of podcasts and blogs. In fact, the recently published article "The Acquittal (after Pretrial Detention) - a Rare but Fascinating Phenomenon of the Criminal Justice System" by Peter Kurlemann and Prof. Dr. Jörg Kinzig was selected to be discussed in such a podcast. In his podcast "Understanding the Legal System Machinery Behind Acquittals" Prof. Dr. Jörg Kinzig talks about the results of this research project.
