Elena Polledri (geb. 1970) ist Assistenzprofessorin für Neuere Deutsche Literatur an der Universität Udine. 2007-2009 war sie Forschungsstipendiatin der Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung an der Universität Konstanz mit einem Forschungsprojekt über „Die Aufgabe des Übersetzers in der Goethezeit“. Deutsche Übersetzungen italienischer Klassiker von Tasso bis Dante (ersch. 2010, bei Narr). Polledri hat in Mailand und Konstanz über Friedrich Hölderlin promoviert.
Elena Polledri ist auch Übersetzerin. Sie hat u.a. Rainer Maria Rilke (Bompiani), Christine Lavant (Forum), Wilhelm Waiblinger (Adelfi) und Friedrich Hölderlin (Bompiani) ins Italienische übersetzt und kommentiert.
