Wie prägen digitale Technologien die Routinen, Beziehungen und Ordnungen des menschlichen Zusammenlebens? Welche Rolle spielen Social Media, Bildtechnologien und Künstliche Intelligenz für verschiedene alltagskulturelle Felder? Wie verhandeln wir bspw. Gender, Ökonomie, Erinnerung oder ästhetisches Erleben in und mit digitalen Medien? Und wie schreiben sich diese Themen in neu entstehende Mensch-Technik-Beziehungen ein?
Solche und weitere Fragen adressiert die EKW im interdisziplinären Arbeitsfeld der Digitalen Anthropologie. Die Vorträge des Institutskolloquiums beleuchten erstens Schnittstellen zwischen Digitaler Anthropologie und anderen Arbeitsfeldern der EKW (von Gender, Populärkulturen und Arbeit bis zu Museen). Zweitens adressieren Sie Verbindungslinien zu anderen, verwandten Disziplinen, bspw. im Austausch mit der Ethnologie oder im Kontext der Digital Humanities. Das Kolloquium bietet dadurch einen breiten Überblick über die Themen, Zugänge und Entwicklungspotenziale dieses (am LUI neu etablierten) Arbeitsfelds und soll Impulse für zukünftige Forschung bieten.
