Prof. Dr. Julia Simon (Freie Universität Berlin) will discuss the role of women in shaping and spreading conservative and illiberal ideas in the U.S., highlighting how maternal and protective identities have been used to normalize reactionary politics.
The discussion will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Léonie de Jonge, an expert on far right extremism at the University of Tübingen.
