Announcement: Dr. Kilian Buehling elected as Vice Chair of ECREA's Political Communication section
11th European Communication Conference of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) in Brno, Czech Republic
At the 11th European Communication Conference of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) in Brno, Czech Republic, IRex researcher Dr. Kilian Buehling was elected as Vice Chair of the Political Communication section.
As part of the section's management team, consisting of chair Prof. Dr. Rens Vliegenthart (Wageningen University) and vice chair Prof. Dr. Delia Balaban (Babeș-Bolyai University), the team will strengthen comparative and cross-national political communication research perspectives across the section, develop and expand the section's mentorship program, and build and sustain an active online community. Together, they will plan and organize the section's interim conference in 2027 and the panel planning for the 2028 European Communication Conference.
