EMAS an der Uni Tübingen
Die Greening the University veranlasste im Juni 2008 mit einem erfolgreich durchführten Symposium zum Thema "Perspektiven für eine nachhaltige Hochschule die Einführung des Umweltmanangementsystems EMAS an der Universität Tübingen.
Seit 2011 ist die Universität EMAS-zertifiziert und wird seitdem alle drei Jahre revalidiert, um die Effektivität des Umweltmanagement sicherzustellen. Die letzte erfolgreiche Revalidierung erfolgte im Jahr 2023.
EMAS ermöglicht der Universität die kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Umweltleistungen in Betrieb, Forschung und Lehre. Im jährlichen Rhythmus wird eine Umwelterklärung veröffentlicht, die über die Entwicklung des Umweltmanagementsystems und die Umweltleistungen informiert.
