Short Bio
Michael Huber is Senior Vice President & Head of Corporate Audit at Fresenius Group and Professor in Computer Science/Discrete Mathematics at Tübingen University. He held management positions in the areas of Business Intelligence, Digital Audit, Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence at Mercedes-Benz Group from 2012–2024. He was a Heisenberg Fellow of the German Research Foundation (DFG) from 2008-2012 and a visiting full Professor in Mathematics at Berlin Technical University from 2007-2008. He obtained the Diploma, Ph.D. and Habilitation degrees in Mathematics from Tübingen University in 1999, 2001 and 2006, respectively. He was awarded, inter alia, the 2008 Heinz Maier Leibnitz Prize by the DFG and the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the highest honor awarded in German research for young scientists under age 35 across all disciplines.
