Study programs
Bachelor of Arts
The three-year B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) degree program in Anthropology consists of a major and a minor. The B.A. degree in Anthropology may be studied as a major or minor. Admission is currently open.
Master of Arts
The Master in Ethnology (Master of Arts) is offered in Tübingen in a two-year program. The teaching language is English only.
Central Student Advisory Service
The Central Student Advisory Service is available to our students throughout their studies. All general questions about studying, for example concerning the transition from school to university or general planning, can best be answered there.

For questions specific to the study of Ethnology, our institute offers a Program-specific Consultation for the B.A. and the M.A. Here you have the opportunity to talk about problems and concerns regarding structure, organization and examination matters. If you are unable to come to the institute for the advising appointments, please contact our advisors directly. Many questions can be found in our FAQ.
