Curriculum according to exam regulations


This is what the curriculum looks like according to the exam regulations (WP = required elective, übK = interdisciplinary professional field-oriented skills):

The order of the compulsory courses is not mandatory, but is strongly recommended. Practical Computer Science I or Practical Computer Science II and Mathematics I or Mathematics II must be passed at the end of the third semester.

The agony of choice

From the third semester onwards, there are required elective modules that can be taken individually. Here is an example of how certain subject areas can be studied in greater depth:

Of course, modules can be taken earlier or later. If courses from sports journalism are chosen in the required elective module Media Studies (the introductory lecture takes place in the summer semester and the courses each have 4 CP), the plan could be modified as follows, for example:
