Nina Udvardi-Lakos

Nina Udvardi-Lakos is a postdoctoral researcher at the Hector Research Institute of Education Sciences and Psychology at the University Tübingen and as part of the project ALIFE (Adaptive Learning Integrated Framework for Educators) works on the development of adaptive, innovative, and effective online professional development courses for teachers using digital media.

Her research interests include cognitive load and mental effort when learning (e.g., Cognitive Load Theory, Effort Monitoring and Regulation Framework), fostering skill acquisition using heuristic worked examples, processing of (dis-)information online (e.g., fake news, deep fakes, etc.), and adaptive learning formats (e.g., for teaching competences, fostering self-regulated learning).
