The German Center for Mental Health (DZPG) aims to improve the mental health of the population and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illnesses. It works interdisciplinarily with affected individuals, their families, and international researchers to develop new methods for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders.
Ulrich Trautwein from the Hector Institute for Empirical Educational Research was involved as a co-applicant for the Tübingen site of the DZPG. The institute contributes its expertise, particularly in planning studies focused on the mental health of children and adolescents, and developing effective measures for prevention and support in this sensitive phase of life.
