The state recognition for social pedagogy is an important additional qualification in relation to entering the professional field. Under certain conditions, this can also be acquired retrospectively as part of the degree programme. For this purpose, a separate elective module with specific content is studied as an alternative to the regularly studied elective module programme. Practical periods may have to be completed extracurricularly. Important note on state recognition: Whether the requirements for obtaining state recognition are met will be clarified individually in a counselling session after the start of the programme.
