Due to the Covid-19 epidemic the excavation work at the Movila lui Deciov could not be continued in the summer of 2020. However, a small team continued to record the finds and to maintain the museum. The finds from the Movila lui Deciov were presented to a wider public in a special exhibition on the latest archaeological discoveries at the Theresian Bastion in Timişoara.

At the same time, work was done on the publication of the excavation results from Bucova Pusta IV.
