Doctoral studies in mathematics

Particularly interested and qualified students, who have finished the study programmes Master of Science Mathematil or Master of Science Mathematical Physics at the University of Tübingen or comparable study programmes, may apply for admission as PhD student in mathematics at the Science Faculty. For this they need an advisor at the department of mathematics; detailed terms are given by the PhD examination regulations (see right column). Detailed information can be found on the webpage of the faculty for doctoral studies. For further advice students may contact the dean of academic affairs of the Department of Mathematics.
