Tübingen Distinguished Guest Professorship

In the framework of the promotion by the initiative of excellence the University of Tübingen invests in the extension of strategic partnerships on an international level. Besides the Teach@Tübingen programme for the attraction of international Postdocs the Tübingen Distinguished Guest Professorship Programme is the second main part for the extension of strategic partnerships and the promotion of the exchange of academic and teaching expertise. The international renowned mathematician Prof. Dr. Simon Brendle holds from 2016 to 2018 a guest professorship at the university of Tübingen in the framework of the programme. Prof. Brendle, who is one of the leading mathematicians in the field of geometric analysis, will do research and teach in Tübingen for several months during this time.
