Biomechanical Modeling of Morphogenesis Lab (BM^2 Lab)

Open Positions

Ph.D. Positions

The Lab is selecting one Ph.D. candidate to work on problems related to chirality and fixed handedness in the plant kingdom (specifically on the valve of C. hirsuta) and to model the morphogenesis of ovule curvature in A. thaliana and mutants. For more information see the AD below and/or the attachment

Master thesis projects

The lab is welcoming students to reach out if interested in a computational master thesis project. Possible topics include the implementation of reaction-diffusion equations in 2D and their coupling to mechanical growth inside our in-house software MorphoMechanX (www.morphographx.org/morphomechanx)
