Successful applications in the BMBF calls for proposals for competence centers for digital and digital-supported teaching

Two collaborative projects in which TüCeDE was involved were successfully selected for funding. The joint project "Professional networks for the promotion of adaptive, process-related, digitally-supported innovations in STEM teacher education (MINT-ProNeD)" is a cooperation of 9 universities based on the collaboration of the Schools of Education in Baden-Württemberg and other non-university research institutes (including Leibniz Institute for Knowledge Media (IWM), German Institute for Adult Education (DIE), Leibniz Institute for Educational Research and Educational Information (DIPF)). Under the leadership of TüCeDE, this joint project develops and implements training courses and instructional development concepts on the possibilities for the feasible and innovative use of technology within adaptive instruction in the STEM area and evaluates them across locations by the Hector Institute for Empirical Educational Research (total volume applied for: €7,500,000).

In addition, TüCeDE is significantly involved in the research initiative "Center for Digitization-related Networking and Transfer in School Education (DIVER)", in which a transfer office for digitization-related networking and transfer in school education is being established within the BMBF competence centers (total volume requested: 30,000,000€). In close cooperation with the TU Munich and the DIPF, TüCeDE is responsible for the preparation and communication of research results for practical use, thus expanding previous Clearing House activities. In addition, other TüCeDE members are involved in the focus area Competence Centers.
