In this Taiwan Colloquium talk, Prof. Jonathan Sullivan, political scientist and China expert from the University of Nottingham, explores the political implications of influencer culture in Taiwan.
About the Speaker
Prof. Sullivan has been engaged in China studies since 1996, with academic credentials including degrees in Modern Chinese Studies (University of Leeds), Political Science (University of Nottingham), and a PhD completed in 2010. He is well known for his research on political communications, youth behavior, and foreign policy in the Chinese-speaking world.
Beyond academia, he has collaborated with UK government agencies including the FCDO and maintains active engagement with media platforms as a commentator on China-related affairs.
