Article on Trends in Performance Management Published in Personalmagazin

Stefanie Ehmann, Patrick Kampkötter, and Julian Wenzel have published an article in Personalmagazin 11/2025 reporting on their study of developments and trends in performance management in German companies over the period 2012–2023 (co-authored with Philipp Grunau). The article also highlights the effects of performance management on employees’ job quality.

The study was conducted by the Chair of Managerial Accounting in cooperation with the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.
