Prof. Kampkötter appointed to advisory board of Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales
Prof. Dr. Patrick Kampkötter, Chair of Managerial Accounting, has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales) for the field of Work Quality and Economic Success (Arbeitsqualität und wirtschaftlicher Erfolg). In this role, he will contribute his expertise to one of the ministry’s central advisory bodies, which focuses on topics such as work quality, productivity, and employee and firm development.
The Advisory Board’s mission is to identify, based on scientific evidence, key issues relevant to the design of future labor market and employment policies. Prof. Kampkötter’s appointment underscores his commitment to bridging research and practice - translating empirical findings into actionable recommendations for policymakers that support improved work quality and employee well-being in firms.
Prof. Kampkötter has been closely involved in the development of the data set Linked Personnel Panel since 2012. This dataset is one of the most important sources for studying the relationships between management practices, individual work quality, and firm success.
