Administrative Support for Researchers

Once you have begun your research career at the University of Tübingen you can rely on the support of the Division of Research (Division II) when applying for national and international grants. 

Research Support / Research Funding (Grant Office)
Research Support provides information on funding programs, eligibility criteria for research awards and will support your applications to all national research formats. The office employs experts for the individual funding schemes from important funding agencies such as the German Research Foundation (DFG) or Federal Ministries. The Research Funding News list all currents calls for proposals for any topics in an RSS feed. 

EU Office
The EU Office provides information and support for all European funding schemes and formats within the Horizon Europe program. 

International Research Cooperation
The International Research Cooperation team administers specific programs for the strategic partners of the University of Tübingen. Information and support on transnational funding schemes and bilateral seed funds are available here. 

Technology Transfer Office
Interested in patenting a novel solution or establishing a start-up? The team from the Technology Transfer Office provides information and support to innovators and founders. They can evaluate and protect innovation and support the commercialization of ideas and products and protect IPR.

Industry Liaison Office
The Industry Liaison office is responsible for establishing frameworks, forging links with industry and supporting joint ventures between researchers and industry. The novel concept of the Industry on Campus professorships paves the way towards more application-inspired basic research. The Industry Liaison Office can support innovation and the realization of projects. 

The Graduate Academy
This umbrella organization is supporting young researchers by providing information and offering qualifications to doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers as well as junior professors. The Graduate Academy is committed to improving the quality of training. The ILIAS Gateway is the central service portal and provides an overview of the training opportunities.
