Die Veranstaltung wird wie gewohnt im Wintersemester 24/25 angeboten. Eine Anmeldung ist notwendig, da es eine begrenzte Teilnehmendenzahl gibt. Für die Bachelorvariante können maximal 25 Studierende zugelassen werden, für die Mastervariante maximal 20 Studierende. Eine Anmeldung ist ab dem 30. September bis zum 21. Oktober über ILIAS möglich. Treten Sie hierzu bitte dem dazugehörigen ILIAS Ordner bei, füllen die Studiengangsumfrage aus und laden Ihr Transcript of Records hoch. Bei einer Übernachfrage erfolgt die Zuteilung zu Beginn der zweiten Vorlesungswoche. Weitere Informationen zur Veranstaltung finden Sie im ILIAS Ordner.

Ab sofort bis zum 20. Oktober können Sie sich in ILIAS mit dem dort hinterlegten Formular für den Kurs anmelden. Eine Anmeldung ist notwendig, da der Kurs eine beschränkte Teilnehmendenzahl vorsieht. Bei einer Übernachfrage werden wir die verfügbaren Plätze am 21. Oktober zuteilen. 

The B512 CFA Colloquium Winter 24/25 is a real world corporate Valuation course that participates in the CFA Institute Research Challenge in Germany. The course participants, one season won the second place in that valuation competition. The winning team from Germany gets to participates in the international valuation competition with CFA travel allowance grant at a location in USA, Australia,  etc.

The course starts with a Kick-off at 3:00 to 3:45 pm on October 9th, 2024 with the CFA institute. The course members should register at Ilias and send a mail to Ted Azarmi.

The team is limited to 3-5 members. Once the members are selected by the professor, the team should file the form called research challenge participation agreement on the course site and email it to the CFA.

The local competition will take place virtually, with the local final taking place either virtually or possibly in Frankfurt. The course instructions and the Kick-off call are via video conferencing. There will be a company presentation by top officers of the firm wich mimics the type of official presentations that stock analysts receive.

We need to submit the names and the email addresses of students to no later than Friday, October 4th. So please, register on Ilias as early as possible.

Generalthema des Seminars im Wintersemester 2023/24 ist "Informationseffizienz und Wertpapieranalyse". Melden Sie sich für das Seminar bis Montag, den 12. August 2024, über Ilias an. Treten Sie dazu dem Ordner „B510 Vertiefung in: Informationseffizienz und Wertpapieranalyse" mit dem Passwort „B510“ bei. Beachten Sie, dass der Ordner aktuell noch im Sommersemester 2024 angelegt ist. Die Ankündigung finden Sie hier.
