In winter semester 2007/2008 the Department of Social Pedagogy, Institute of Educational Science, set up a section to pursue counselling research. The section is allocated to the chair of Prof. Dr. Petra Bauer.

Objectives of this section:

• Development and evaluation of innovative teaching and learning methods designed to enhance counselling skills
• Counselling research and theory development
• Networking between theory and practice

This section is based at Münzgasse 26, Tübingen. Its premises are equipped with state of-the-art video and audio technology.
