In the group "Computational Nanoscience" (Prof. Martin Oettel) we are looking for a motivated PhD student to work on modelling of thin film growth with anisotropic particles using simulations and dynamic density functional theory.

The position is part of a joint DAAD-CAPES project between the experimental group of Prof. Frank Schreiber (Tübingen) working on thin film growth for organic electronics and the theoretical groups of Prof. Fabio Reis (U Federal Fluminense, Brazil) and Prof. Oettel. The candidate is expected to work closely with all partners, this involves an extended research stay in Brazil.
