Information Flyer (for download)

The MA program “Archaeology” is a two-year, in-depth interdisciplinary program that provides students with a detailed understanding of the human past, focusing on a combination of disciplines in the humanities and the natural sciences.

The program is designed to provide students with in-depth training in one of the five specializations (Stone Age Archaeology - Later European Prehistory - Near Eastern Archaeology and Archaeology of the Southern Levant - Classical Archaeology - Medieval and Post-Medieval Archaeology / Historical Archaeology), all the while maintaining flexibility to allow students to explore their own interdisciplinary interests and develop original topics for their thesis.
