Guest lecture by Horváth Management Consultancy

On Monday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Birte Rutsch and Thomas Gommel from Horváth, a leading management consultancy, to our lecture Internes Rechnungswesen (Cost Accounting). Under the title "Controller as Corporate Performance Managers", Birte and Thomas gave the students interesting insights into the areas of performance management, the role of the controller, the importance of cost accounting for firms, and future trends in controlling. We learned and took away a lot, and are always very happy about bridging research and practice. We are already looking forward to our next exchange!
