The service project ZP02 takes care of the confocal microscopes and helps people working with them. Together with several TPs elaborate electron microscopic preparations are planned. The focus is on cryo-preparation methods for ultrastructural analysis and different immunolocalization techniques as well as on correlative light and electron microscopy. In addition, targeted ultramicrotomy and the analysis of purified protein samples (negative staining) are required.
