Ausdrucksmittel extra-propositionaler Bedeutungen – Diachronie und Synchronie
Projekt C6 befasste sich mit der Klasse der Ausdrücke, von denen angenommen wird, dass sie nicht zum zentralen Satz eines Satzes beitragen, sondern eine extrapropositionale Interpretation tragen. Diese vermitteln typischerweise die subjektive Einstellung des Sprechers, spezifizieren die Informationsgrundlage des Hauptsatzes oder strukturieren den Diskurs. Das Projekt führte eingehende Untersuchungen ausgewählter extrapropositioneller Phänomene durch, um ein besseres Verständnis ihrer grammatikalischen Eigenschaften zu erlangen, wobei das Zusammenspiel ihrer formalen und interpretativen Merkmale im Vordergrund stand.
