WICHTIG: Der postalische Versand von Dokumenten an Sie soll eine Ausnahme sein, wenn Sie z.B. aufgrund zu großer Entfernung von Tübingen, nicht in der Lage sind, die Dokumente beim Prüfungsamt (Servicebüro) abzuholen.

IMPORTANT: Sending documents to you by post should be an exception, e.g. if you are unable to collect the documents from the Examination Office (Service Office) because you are too far away from Tübingen.

Eigenständigkeitserklärung und Hilfsmittelvereinbarung / Declaration about independent work and agreement on permitted aids

Mit der verpflichtenden Eigenständigkeitserklärung bei Abschlussarbeiten bestätigen die Studierenden u.a., dass sie “keine anderen als die angegebenen Hilfsmittel” verwendet haben. Daher wird auch die Hilfsmittelvereinbarung benötigt. In dieser wird auch der Umgang mit sog. künstlicher Intelligenz geregelt.
The declaration about independet work is required for every thesis. With this declaration, students declare (among other things) that they “did not use any resources other than those cited”. Accordingly, the agreement on permitted aids is required, as well. This agreement also regulates the use of so-called artificial intelligence.

Diese Dokumente sind vorrangig für Abschlussarbeiten vorgesehen. Sie können aber auch für andere Studien- und Prüfungsleistungen (z. Bsp. Protokolle) verwendet werden.
These documents are mainly intended to be used for thesis work. However, they can also be used for other study or examination work, e.g., protocols.
