Admission Requirements

  • Grade Point Average (GPA) of the Higher Education Entrance Qualification
  • Additional criteria: Social or voluntary engagement, prior pedagogical experience, and extracurricular achievements such as successful participation in state or national competitions may be considered in the form of bonus points. The overall grade of the higher education entrance qualification can be improved by up to 0.3 points through this bonus system.
  • The language of instruction in the program is German. However, since a large portion of the literature in Educational Psychology is written in English, reading and source comprehension at an English B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required. Some courses may also be taught in English, so sufficient English proficiency at B2 level (CEFR) is expected for participation.
